Tales from the front lines of food.

“Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you what you are.” – Jean Brillat-Savarin

This is me and this is what I eat. I’m Tami, a gastronomically obsessed food stylist living in Atlanta, Georgia. I’m a lover of food that pleases the eye as much as the palate – it’s an occupational hazard. When I’m not on set making food look good for advertisements and editorial spreads, I come to this blog – now almost 5 years old – to share the food that I make for myself and the people I love. It’s a place I’ve leaned on through tough times and celebrated joyous occasions, as well. Thank you for stopping by Running With Tweezers and letting me talk…and cook….and thank you for sharing right back.
It’s been a remarkable few years. This humble little site has gotten accolades I’ve never dreamed of. RWT has been touted on some of our favorite sites like Saveur and Scoutmob. We’ve been voted the Best Blog in Atlanta by the AJC. Recently, the goofy story of how this reformed fashion stylist started this blog was featured on CNN’s Eatocracy.
Running with Tweezers is a personal project and labor of love. Many folks ask about my professional alter-ego. You can see a sampling of my work on my portfolio site. Have a question about my work, rates, or schedule? Please get in touch with me through the contact form on this site.
As I said, this blog is a labor of love and I shoot & style everything on this site unless otherwise noted. Therefore, everything on this site belongs to me and is subject to copyright. Want to use a photo or recipe from this blog? All you have to do is ask.
