the saturday soup – recipe link love (winter edition!) November 5, 2011

Every once in a while, I like to share the love when it comes to soup recipes. Now that the temperatures have dropped and folks are looking for ways to stay warm & use hearty winter produce, the soup recipes are flowing like water. I’m not complaining! While I make my own soup recipes every week – I’ve been working on a lentil soup recipe as well as playing around with chestnuts – it’s nice to get inspired by others. Here’s a list of close to 20 soups that have caught my eye around the blogs.

Hi Tami,

Thank you for the mention. :) I’m right there with you on making soup when this time of year comes around. We have several kinds in the fridge and freezer right now.

The vegetable stock is really rich and wonderful in flavor, so it is a great addition for many dishes. BTW, thanks for recommending the sushi restaurant. It was perfect. Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the mention! Now I just need to pick what to make this weekend. It is cold, rainy and windy here. Perfect day for a pot of soup.
