Words don’t do justice to the week we spent in Tulum, Mexico….so I won’t bog this post down with a mess of them. We swam in a cenote by ourselves, we toured the ruins around Tulum, we snorkeled in the crystal clear aqua water. The weather was amazing (rainy season – pffft), the people were warm and friendly…and the food was out of this world. Incredible fish tacos, paletas filled with fresh fruit and one of the Top Five meals of my life, which took place at The Hartwood. We stayed at Coco Tulum on the beach and we’re already planning our return trip for next year. If you find yourself there and want some recommendations, I’ll happily pass them along.

Hey Tami – We’re IG pals through Kelly Cline, I think. ;] Would love any details you’d like to pass on – am currently planning a warm getaway with Jules, my sweetie – CoTu would be a great candidate to consider. Beach for her, eats for me – win all around!

What a delightful blog you have. Your writing is so interesting and you have a real talent. And as for your photography, well it’s stunning. So many blogs out there and so little quality. If you get disparaging comments, it’s because they are jealous of your talent and they want to bring you down. Don’t let them girl!!

Those popsicles look unreal! Not to mention everything else. Now I want to go on vacation!

I don’t think that you can take a bad photo of Tulum. It is definitely on my destination list. Plus, while I wouldn’t normally order pizza in Mexico – that pizza looks incredible and made my stomach growl. Yum.

Absolutely beautiful photos, you’ve really conveyed a sense of what an amazing place it is. And of course, the food looks completely delicious! Mexico is steadily becoming a destination on my bucket list…

I spent some time in the Yucatan over the summer researching Mexican food. My last week there I traveled over to Tulum for rest. I had no idea the food would be so amazing! I recognize a few of the locations of your pictures. Such a special place.

Isn’t Tulum the greatest?! This is a lovely post, makes me want to go back. I have a post about it on my blog but it’s not as nice as yours : )

P.S. That outside bar looks like one I went to on Isla Mujeres. If you go back I so recommend this Island at least for a day trip : )

Hi there! I just discovered your blog googling “Tulum Weather in October”. I have a trip on the books, and Hartwood is on my list. As are the ruins and snorkeling.

Where else would you recommend to eat?!

Hi! I’m planning a trip to Tulum now and would love to stay at Coco Tulum. Which cabana exactly were you in? Do you remember the number? And how did you like it? Thanks!
